សត្វទន្ទ្រីតធំ( oriental pratincole) មានឈ្មោះវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រថា Glareolinae។ វាមានជើងខ្លី ស្លាប និងកន្ទុយវែង ផ្នែកខាងខ្នង ក្បាល និងស្លាប មានពណ៌ត្នោត ចំពុះមានពណ៌ខ្មៅលាយក្រហម និងមានពណ៌ខ្មៅឆ្នូតពីភ្នែកម្ខាងទៅភ្នែកម្ខាងទៀតកាត់តាមករបស់វា។ វារស់នៅ និងរកចំណីក្នុងប្រទេសអូស្រ្តាលីនៅរដូវមិនបន្តរពូជ តាមការស្រាវជ្រាវរបស់អ្នកសិក្សាជនជាតិអូស្ត្រាលីបានរកឃើញថា វាបានធ្វើបម្លាស់ទីដ៏គួរអោយភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល រហូតដល់ 8000គីឡូម៉ែត មកពងកូននៅតំបន់ការពារទេសភាពបឹងព្រែកល្ពៅ ក្នុងខេត្តតាកែវយើងជារៀងរាល់ឆ្នាំ។ ជាទូទៅទន្ទ្រីតធំញីមួយក្បាលអាចពងបាន 2 ទៅ 3គ្រាប់ ទន្រ្ទីតធំនេះធ្វើការបង្កកំណើតនៅតំបន់អភិរក្សយើងមុននឹងបំលាស់ទីកាត់ប្រទេសមួយចំនួនត្រលប់ទៅរកទីតាំងរកចំណីនារដូវមិនបន្តពួជវិញ។
The Oriental Pratincole is a bird known for its short legs, long wings, and slender beak. Its back, head, and wings are brown, while its chest shows a mix of black and red colors. A distinctive black line runs across its face from one eye to the other, giving it a unique look.
This bird lives and feeds in Australia during the non-breeding season. Australian researchers discovered that the Oriental Pratincole has an amazing migration pattern. It travels up to 8,000 kilometers to breed in the protected wetlands of Takéo Province, Cambodia. Every year, they return to this area to breed.
Usually, a pair of Oriental Pratincoles lays 2 to 3 eggs in their nests. After breeding in conservation areas in Cambodia, they migrate across several countries before returning to their feeding grounds during the non-breeding season.
